Step by step after surgery

Postoperative recovery and medical care in Varna

Returning to daily life after surgery often takes time and support. At the hospice, we combine nursing and daily care with rehabilitation tailored to the patient’s prescribed treatment and abilities.

Admission is confirmed after individual assessment and subject to bed availability.

After orthopaedic surgery and hospital treatment

Talk to us about care after hip or knee surgery, other orthopaedic procedures or hospital treatment that has left someone with limited mobility. Admission depends on an individual assessment of needs, restrictions and the care the hospice can provide.

Medical and daily care

The team helps patients follow medical instructions, monitors their condition and supports personal hygiene, comfort and safe movement. We do not independently change prescribed treatment; medical assessment is sought when needed.

Rehabilitation that respects individual limits

The rehabilitation specialist plans movement around the type of surgery, permitted weight-bearing and the surgeon’s instructions. Not every movement or exercise suits every patient. Recovery progresses at an individual pace.

What family members should prepare

For your conversation with the team, have information about discharge, prescriptions, restrictions and the help required. Medical records should only be shared through a previously agreed channel. Confirm the arrangements and care options with us before organising transport.
